Aroota's Magnesium Soak is inspired by Avagaha Sweda, the Ayurvedic immersion bath in which the body is lowered into warm, mineral-rich water and simply left there. It was turned to for stiffness, for restlessness, for the kind of tiredness that sleep alone does not fix. No scrubbing, no rinsing off a treatment. The work happens while you do nothing at all. Ayurveda names Himalayan pink salt Saindhava Lavana and considers it the finest of the salts, the only one held to be tridoshic. Drawn from ancient seabeds beneath the Himalaya, it carries the trace minerals that ordinary table salt has had stripped out of it. Magnesium chloride flakes dissolve fast and completely in warm water, turning an ordinary bath into a mineral immersion, while Damask rose rises with the steam. Three ingredients.
