1960s Modernist Bunny Brooch

Bonkers vintage rabbit brooch made in Italy in the 1960s. It's highly stylised in the same modernist tradition as the iconic VC&A "Chat Malicieux" brooches, and beautifully made with vivid orange coral for its body and a pastel green Dalmatian serpentine head with a pink sapphire eye. The long ears (could this bunny be a hare?), legs and feet feature a shimmering florentine finish, and it's crafted in 18 carat gold throughout.
