Yew - Double Live Edge Boards

Exceptional kiln-dried yew double live edge wood boards sourced from a felled tree in London. Board A Beautiful Grade 2 yew board featuring stunning wavy grain patterns and vibrant natural colouring in shades of orange, purple and pink. The board has a few medium knots, some splits and two live edges, with two working faces. One larger split has formed from bark on the reverse of the board, where there is also some rot and a soft spot. Very light spalting is present within the sapwood, adding further natural character to this striking piece of yew timber. Board B Characterful yew board with a few knots, subtle pip and attractive orangey colouring. The board features straight grain, two live edges and two working faces. Splits run through both the front and back of the board, with some areas of rot and soft spots. Very light spalting can also be found in the sapwood. Thicknessed both sides as seen in images.
