Charity Trustees Duties Refresher

Duration: 2 hours This course is aimed at all Charity Trustees, giving an outline of relevant Legislation and Policy, a strategic overview and how best to support the organisation and staff, and also looking at the human, financial and brand impact of serious safeguarding issues. Learning Objectives: Understand roles and responsibilities of leaders in Safeguarding; Recognise good pratice in Board oversight; Understand the legal consequences of a serious safeguarding incident; Understand how to check and challenge the Senior Leadership team; Recognise trauma and the human impact of abuse.
