On the nose Chateau Fontarabie Cotes de Blaye is fruity, well-built and offers a good definition, a fine grain as well as a certain intensity. It reveals notes of pulpy cassis and pulpy small black fruits associated with fine touches of violet, black plum, zan as well as hints of graphite, strawberry, very fine hints of incense, toasted, vanilla extract and a very discreet hint of pepper. On the palateChateau Fontarabie Cotes de Blaye is fruity, very slightly tight, well-balanced and offers minerality, roundness, suavity, a small freshness, structure, a finely acidulous frame as well as fine juiciness. The wine expresses notes of raspberry, redcurrant and small notes of blackcurrant associated with touches of small black fruits, zan, lilac, cornflowers as well as hints of tonka bean, cardamom and cocoa / roasting. Tannins are well-structured.
