Avon 1876 Cape Cod Ruby Elegant Wine Glass. Approx 4.5" tall. A discontinued vintage collectible dish item made of high-quality, ruby-red pressed glass. This is a vintage Avon 1876 Cape Cod ruby red wine glass with a hexagonal base. Manufacturing: Produced by the Wheaton Glass Company for Avon between 1975 and 1992. Design Details: The glass features a ruby red color, a hexagonal-shaped foot and stem, and an ornate, embossed diamond and circle pattern on the bowl. Inspiration: The pattern was inspired by the Roman Rosette pattern, commemorating the 1876 Philadelphia Centennial.
