Turn it right side up, press the power button, and enjoy the calming aroma.  Diffuser Care Instructions It is normal for the mist volume to vary with the type of essential oil used. Use of chemical fragrances, spices, or impure essential oils may cause product damage. Essential oils with high viscosity, including essential oils that contain Fractionated Coconut Oil, will cause the diffuser not to mist properly. If the diffuser has difficulty misting the essential oil, follow the “Cleaning and Maintenance” to clean away the essential oil from the Oil Tank. Leave the essential oil bottle in the diffuser until completely dispensed, and the diffuser stops spraying. Changing the essential oil bottle before this will cause the oil to spill. When essential oil is inside the Oil Tank, essential oil may leak when the diffuser is stored or placed at an angle or turned upside down, which will cause product damage.
