Product Overview: XGAUZE 3-Pack (Pouch) is a trauma dressing pouch w/ cellulose sponges that expand on contact with blood and applies pressure for fast, effective hemorrhage control. Features/Benefits: Unique Pressure Capability – Unlike hemostatic gauzes, XGAUZE unique delivery system and self-expanding sponges can achieve hemostasis in seconds using mechanical pressure. Once the XGAUZE sponges expand in the pouch format and increase pressure above systolic bloodpressure, bleeding will stop. Easy to Use – simplifies wound packing and require less dependence on training andtechnique. XGAUZE expands and fills the entire wound cavity even when used by inexperienced providers. Equivalent to 3 rolls of standard gauze in absorption and expansion. Has a radiopaque marker along the widths of the pouch. Small Cube and Weight – XGAUZE Pouch weighs .85g (with packaging). Stable in extreme environments - Not affected by extreme heat or cold, XGAUZE will expandupon contact with blood regardless of temperature making it an excellent choice for Arcticwarfare conditions.
