Hold-a-Book Clip
This is a small run prototype batch with limited availability. A couple of pieces have minor chipping around some cord holes and are priced to reflect this. The Hold-a-Book Clip came about after an arthritic friend asked about coming up with a less fatiguing way to hold a book open while reading in bed. Two pieces of shaped acrylic are hinged and held together with shock cord. It's the shock cord that gently pinches the book to lessen the grip strength needed by the reader. When page needs to be turned, just open the clip past 180 degrees where it will stay open. Turn the page and slowly let it close in on itself to re-grip the book. On the back side are two loops of shock cord one can slip their fingers through to aid in holding the book itself.
