L’Astré, ‘Har Lo Pass’ (2024)

Southwest, France— A juicy, peppery blend of Cabernet Franc, Cab Sauv and Merlot! Thorny red berries, plums, green pepper, dried herbs, earth and spice. Nice slightly chilled! Direct press organic Cab Franc (50%) and organic Cab Sauvignon (10%) from 30-year-old vines on clay-limestone near Saint Méard de Gurçon. Infusion of de-stemmed organic Merlot (40%) in the juice of the Cabernets for 5 days before being pressed into stainless steel for 7 months until bottling in May 2025. No fining or filtering - 3000 bottles - ABV 12.5%
