2013 Château Charmail

The 2013 Château Charmail is a fresh, classically styled Haut-Médoc with red and black currant, graphite, and subtle leafy, cedar notes. The cool, challenging vintage yielded a more restrained, medium-bodied wine with bright acidity, fine-grained tannins, and an early-drinking charm shaped by its proximity to the Gironde. An elegant, food-friendly claret showing the lighter, more aromatic side of the estate.
