Предисловие к специальной рубрике конкурсных студенческих работ и некоторые наблюдения по результатам их обобщения

The paper precedes the publication of selected essays based on the results of the Lomonosov Universiade Law Student Competition in the Civil Law Section of the Faculty of Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University. The paper describes the goals and format of the competition, and provides the author’s observations of the main trends in the results of the students’ scientific development of the topics and relevant private law problems proposed for participation in the competition. Noting the high level of the published texts meeting the requirements of an article in a scientific journal, the authors make several reservations regarding the rules of the competition, which set certain limits for the works and their authors, and explain the purpose of publishing selected essays for a wide range of readers in general and for the teaching of civil law in particular.
