Echeveria 'Big Eyes'
About Echeveria 'Big Eyes' Echeveria "Big Eyes" is one hybrid succulent derived from Echeveria Malgan. It belongs to the "distinguished eyelashes" series. Its long and slightly curled leaf tips look like the lady's eyelashes, which makes this variety super cute and charming. It is a slow grower, and as it matures, the leaf margins become more prominently curled. The leaves will turn to a jelly-like orange, adding extra vibrancy and visual interest. How to Care for Echeveria 'Big Eyes' Sun/Location: Echeveria 'Big Eyes' is fairly resistant to stretching even in low light, but it performs best in bright, indirect sunlight or a few hours of soft morning sun. These conditions help maintain a compact, symmetrical rosette. In hot climates, partial afternoon shade is recommended to prevent sunburn and leaf damage. Soil/Pot: Use a fast-draining succulent mix enriched with mineral materials such as pumice and perlite. Terracotta or ceramic pots with drainage holes are ideal, as they promote airflow and help excess moisture evaporate, reducing the risk of root rot, especially in summer. Watering: Water only when the soil is completely dry. During spring and autumn, watering is usually needed every 1–2 weeks, depending on the climate. Reduce or stop watering Echeveria 'Big Eyes' in winter. In summer, water after sunset on sunny days, and ensure any excess rainwater is drained if kept outdoors.
