I make the mug one day and then trim the bottom foot the next day and attach its handle then. I let it dry completely and then paint red plumflowers and a trailing vine on it. Recently I have modified this design and changed the vine from green to black and added bigger flower buds. The simplification of the colors really makes the design pop. I started this design over 12 years ago. It's been fun and interesting to see it evolve into its present rendition. A red slip is applied to the inside then a clear glaze finishes the mug inside and out. Made from high fire grolleg porcelain and fired in an electric oxidation kiln. ~~~ Shipping & Notes ~~~ All items ship within 1-2 business days via USPS Priority Mail.
