Here you will enjoy a hands-on cooking experience, preparing traditional Georgian dishes yourself and tasting truly fresh, chemical-free, farm-to-table cuisine. Continue to Vellino, a family-owned winery, where you will explore the traditional family marani and learn about local winemaking methods. Enjoy a guided tasting of 4 different wines, each reflecting the character of Kakheti’s unique terroir and winemaking heritage. Drive to Tbilisi. Overnight in Tbilisi. DAY 4 Breakfast at the hotel. Start your day with a visit to Mtskheta, one of Georgia’s oldest cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you will explore the beautiful Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Continue your journey yo Uplistsikhe, a fascinating rock-hewn town dating back to the early Iron Age, where caves, tunnels, and ancient halls tell stories of early civilizations. Continue to Gori, the birthplace of Joseph Stalin, visist Stalin Museum, after head to west part of Georgia, the old Capital city -Kutaisi, which is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Europe. According to ancient Greek mythology, Kutaisi was part of the legendary kingdom of Colchis—the destination of Jason and the Argonauts in their quest for the Golden Fleece. Ruled by King Aeetes, the land guarded this powerful symbol of wealth and authority. With the help of Medea, Jason succeeded in taking the fleece and escaping Colchis—linking Kutaisi forever to one of the world’s most famous legends. Overnight in Kutasi. DAY 5 Breakfast at the hotel. Start your journey to Kutaisi, the historic capital of the Imereti region, known for its lively streets and cultural landmarks and city tour in Kutaisi visiting the UNESCO-listed Bagrati Cathedral and the beautiful Gelati Monastery. (In case Gelati will be open for visitors). Visit Kutaisi Basari – and taste the Lagidze water. Next drive to Tskaltupo to visit the spectacular Prometheus Cave, one of Georgia’s natural wonders, where impressive stalactites, stalagmites, and underground rivers create a magical world beneath the earth. At the end of the tour enjoy the boat ride inside the cave adds a unique touch to the experience. Visit Abandon Sanatorium in Tskaltubo. Overnight in Kutaisi DAY 6 Explore the breathtaking Martvili Canyon, famous for its turquoise waters and dramatic limestone cliffs. Enjoy a relaxing boat ride through emerald pools and hidden waterfalls, surrounded by pristine natural beauty. Continue to Zugdidi, the cultural heart of Samegrelo, and visit the elegant Dadiani Palace—a 19th-century aristocratic residence of the powerful Dadiani family, once linked to European royal circles and holding artifacts connected to Napoleon Bonaparte. In the evening, experience the authentic “Sisatura Ethno Village,” a family-run cultural project hosted by a husband and wife, offering insight into Megrelian history through traditional houses and storytelling. Drive to Mestia, the heart of the Svaneti region, surrounded by the majestic Caucasus Mountains. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking landscapes of high mountains, rivers, and traditional villages. Upon arrival, explore the town, famous for its medieval Svan towers and unique architecture. Visit the Svaneti Museum of History and Ethnography, where you will discover ancient icons, manuscripts, and artifacts that reveal the rich cultural heritage of the Svan people. Continue exploring the iconic Svaneti Towers, the legendary stone defensive structures that have protected local families for centuries and remain a powerful symbol of the region. Overnight in Mestia. DAY 8 Breakfast at the hotel. Take a day trip to Ushguli, one of the highest continuously inhabited villages in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage site. On the way visit love tower the famous Svanetian tower- Explore the ancient Svan towers, traditional stone houses, and stunning alpine scenery. Optionally, enjoy a short hike around the village to admire glaciers and mountain peaks. Return to Mestia for the evening. Overnight in Mestia. DAY 9 Breakfast at the hotel. Depart Mestia and drive toward the Kutaisi, Free Evening after arrival in Kutaisi. DAY 10 Breakfast at the hotel. Travel back to Tbilisi, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way.
