Leopard Slug, Limax Maximus One of the largest slugs in the hobby! Size: usually around 15cm but can range from 10-20cm Life Span: 2-3 years Breeding: relatively intermediate, in the correct set up they are prolific. Each slug requires approximately 5gallons to have enough space for movement and being able to stretch out. They are a very active species of slug. What do they eat? They eat decaying plant matter, fungi and detritus. They are carnivorous and will hunt other slugs, snails, eggs.
