Fuubutsushi - Harmony of Irrelevant Facts (Limited Edition 7" Lathe)

The latest release by Fuubutsushi is a 7" lathe titled Harmony of Irrelevant Facts on Whited Sepulchre Records. Combining a variety of genres and elements, the track is marked by a playful and trusting exploration among the four musicians. Drawing inspiration from ECM, cool jazz, ambient music, minimalism, city pop, post-rock, folk, and Americana, this music thoughtfully roams across landscapes like a wandering cloud. Fuubutsushi is a quartet featuring Chris Jusell, Chaz Prymek, Matthew Sage, and Patrick Shiroishi. The group creates their recordings by collaborating remotely, with all four members living in different states. They formed their group at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and completed a four album series based on the seasons from 2020–21.
