Each piece is made and glazed by hand in our cottage studio in Maine. The everyday bowl is great for soups, salads, cereal, or noodle dishes. Our ceramics are made with lead-free, food-safe glazes and are both microwave and dishwasher safe. However, for the best care and to keep them in great condition, we recommend handwashing whenever possible. Each piece is made by hand from black clay and finished with a hand applied glaze, creating a one of a kind piece with its own warmth and character. Fired at a minimum 2167°F, it’s designed to be both durable and beautiful for everyday use. Your dinnerware set will arrive carefully packaged in beautiful, eco-friendly packaging, ready to use or give as a thoughtful gift. The bottom of each piece is carefully polished before packaging to ensure it is gentle on surfaces. Because each piece is handmade, slight variations in size, shape, and color are to be expected. These natural differences are not imperfections but a reflection of the unique and one of a kind character of each piece.
