It WILL rust if you leave water moisture on it. Keep a thin coat of oil or wax on it to protect it.) Handle is made of natural jute twine and epoxy resin. It will patina with time and turn a deeper amber brown color. Back Leather Sheath with Discreet Carry clip and brass rivets. Kiridashi Weight : 2.1 oz. Leather Weight : 1.7 oz.
