Artists were commissioned to provide stylish illustrations for each issue. These fashion plates were produced using a stencil technique (pochoir) which suited the simple lines and vivid colours of contemporary trends. Chester Beatty’s second wife, Edith Dunn Stone contributed to acquire this fashion magazine.
