To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Fender Telecaster, the company launched a series of 12 Telebration Telecasters at the Winter 2011 NAMM show. Each of the 12 guitars would be produced in a limited run of 500 pieces with the exception of two that would be limited to 300 pieces. the seventh guitar in the series was the Lamboo Telecaster. Body & Hardware Body Material: Laminated bamboo top and back over a solid alder core. Binding: Tortoiseshell body binding. Bridge: Vintage-Style 3-saddle strings-thru-body Tele bridge. Pickguard: 4-ply tortoiseshell. Hardware: Chrome. Neck Neck Material: Maple (with a thin bamboo/lamboo veneer). Neck Shape: Modern "C". Scale Length: 25.5" (648 mm). Fretboard: Maple (some variants came with a matching Lamboo fretboard). Fretboard Radius: 9.5" (241 mm). Frets: 22, medium jumbo. Nut Width: 1.685" (42.8 mm). Nut Material: Synthetic bone. Electronics Pickups: Hot Tele single-coil pickups with Alnico 3 magnets (bridge and neck). Controls: Master volume, master Greasebucket tone circuit. Pickup Switching: 3-position blade switch. ** This is a used guitar and therefore may have cosmetic imperfections and blemishes such as swirls not visible in photos.
