This ODE Magician 11" Open Back Banjo is a straightforward, quality-made open-back model built just outside Boulder, CO. A nod to the Ogsbury family ODE banjo brand, this 11" features a Multi-ply Maple tone rim, walnut rim-rod, and 24 brackets all combining to create an articulate tone, with a bit of brightness to cut through a jam. With a 25.5" scale length and a 17 fret scooped Ebony fingerboard, this open-back includes capo spikes at the 7th and 9th frets for all sorts of alternate tunings. This Magician has been upgraded to include a wooden armrest for hours of comfortable playing. Includes a Superior hardshell case , and a free Mass Street setup from our team of luthiers.
