Ash Charcoal

Ash charcoal is also very popular on our barbecue. This medium density hardwood provides a consistent strong heat, but more importantly can burn for a long time thanks to its manageability. Perfect if you are thinking about low and slow cooking, but also great for the back garden barbecue with family and friends. If you do find your heat dropping off then don’t be afraid to add more at any time during your cook. As this is charcoal will only impart mild flavour to your food, don’t be scared to use it for those long cooks.
