Induction PWHT System for Oil & Gas Pipeline Welding Projects

An Induction PWHT System for oil and gas pipeline welding projects is a portable or skid-mounted post-weld heat treatment solution used for pipeline weld stress relieving, weld preheating, hydrogen bake-out, controlled heating and field repair heating. It is mainly applied to carbon steel, low-alloy steel, Cr-Mo steel, pressure piping, process pipelines, offshore pipelines and thick-wall weld joints. The system uses flexible induction heating cables or induction blankets with thermocouple feedback to deliver uniform, repeatable and controllable heating. It helps contractors reduce weld cracking risk, meet WPS/PQR requirements, improve site productivity and replace slower resistance heating in many field applications.
