This is the perfect nesting box for the Treecreeper and Nuthatch. It will provide a safe place for these birds to rest, nest and shelter from the wet and the cold. This basic nesting box with pure materials will give the Treecreeper and Nuthutch a good place to nest and will help conserve their population. The Treecreeper owes its name to its behaviour since it crawls up tree trunks in jolted movements. This nesting box offers theTreecreeper an entrance hole on the side under the roof so that it can enter the nesting box directly via the tree trunk. It is made from 100% FSC certified pinewood. The box has a zinc galvanised roof. Hang in a quiet, sheltered spot on a tree at a height between 1.5 to 3 metres. There needs to be an unhindered flight path for the bird. Do not place in direct sunlight and ensure that it is angled away from prevailing rain or winds.
