Tagetes lucida A rare perennial heirloom marigold that is very drought tolerant. Produces delicious leaves with notes of anise, and 1/2″ clusters of golden flowers. Was primarily used as a medicinal herb in Mexico and Central America. Also used as a dye, flavoring agent, and a substitute for tarragon.
