Plant shallot 'Griselle' (choose weight)
This grey-purple variety produces long shallots with pink-purple flesh, real flavour bombs for the kitchen. A 1 kg bag contains approximately 35 shallots. These shallots are suitable for cultivation under glass and in the open ground. The planting period is from mid-September to November, and the harvest takes place in May-June. Perfect for those looking for shallots with an intense flavour and a beautiful colour. Planting period : From September to October Planting distance : : Plant them in rows 30 cm apart and 15 cm between the plants. Planting depth : Plant the shallot so that the top is just above in sandy soil and plant them slightly higher in clay soil (with the top and 0.5 cm of the shallot above). Plant them in the current year's potato bed in loose, well-drained soil. Tarred compost is fine, avoid fresh manure. Harvest : August
