Puttabong First Flush 2026

Puttabong, where also last year our First Flush originated, is the oldest tea garden in the Darjeeling region. This garden with as much as 426 hectares of tea plants is beautifully located in the hills north of the region’s capital Darjeeling, with a spectacular view over the snowy peaks of the Himalayas. The Rangeet River runs through the garden and provides the plants with sufficient water. Although the garden has been in existence since 1852, it has moved with the times. Nowadays Puttabong is a frontrunner in technological and ecological development, striving for biodiversity and sustainability. They also invest in the pickers’ wellbeing, with housing and a hospital on the compound. The First Flush from Puttabong is an aromatic, light First Flush picked early. You can taste that this tea is very young indeed.
