Natural Dye Tie Indigo Sun

This is a hand block print cotton tie coloured entirely with natural dyes, no synthetic pigments, no uniform machine finish. The indigo base shifts slightly across the fabric, lighter in some places, deeper in others. The olive medallions have a muted, earthy warmth that synthetic green could never replicate. That texture, that unevenness, is the whole point of a natural dye tie. Each sun motif was stamped individually using a carved wooden block by artisans in Sindh, Pakistan, the same region that has been practising this craft for over four thousand years. No two ties print identically. The variations aren't flaws. They're fingerprints. Wear it with a white linen shirt for something relaxed and intentional. A slate grey or olive suit for a more formal setting. Works beautifully in autumn and winter, the colours belong to that season.
