Date: WEDNESDAY MAY 20,27 & JUNE 4,11 Time: 10am–2pm Duration: 4hrs per class, 16hrs total Format: In-person, hands-on workshop. Maximum 8 students. Location: 92 Leveson St, North Melbourne Skill level: Beginner to Advanced. All levels welcome. Best suited to This workshop is ideal for sewists with a basic understanding of sewing techniques who want to delve into garment prototyping and expand their skills. It is especially well suited to those wanting to make their own clothes that fit well, with the guidance of experienced industry practitioners. Overview In this relaxed hands-on program participants will explore patternmaking skills and learn new techniques and processes for pattern making and sewing. You can choose to work on a dress, top, shirt, pant, or crop jacket, and will receive personalised assistance to curate the pattern to fit you perfectly. This program offers the opportunity to toile (mock up) and refine your patterns under experienced guidance, helping you create the perfect garment ready for cutting into real cloth.
