Verbena – White Spires

Verbena ‘White Spires’ (Verbena hastata) is a perennial in the Verbenaceae family. It prefers full sun to part shade and moist, well-drained soil, and is hardy in most New Zealand regions. It grows to 1–1.2 m tall and 40–60 cm wide, with elegant upright stems and pure white flower spikes. Used as a cottage garden plant for lightness and contrast, a pollinator plant attracting bees and butterflies, and a medicinal herb traditionally used for calming and digestive support.
