Uncharted Whisky Co. Age of Speys Aberlour 11yo 2014 (55%)

The Uncharted Whisky Co. Age of Speys Aberlour 11 years old 2014 is a Speyside single malt from the Aberlour distillery bottled by the independent bottler Uncharted Whisky Co. This Aberlour was distilled in 2014 and it matured in sherry barriques. It got bottled in March 2026 at 55% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited edition release of 623 bottles. Official tasting notes: A story… in the South of Spain, in Jerez, they make sherry. There is a sherry house called Spinola and they kind of go their own way… They only grow Pedro Ximenez grapes, and in some instances make an Oloroso style sherry with them. The wine produced is of the highest quality and made to be savoured as a premium sherry, That is the casks type of these two barriques. It is not a super dark colour but the palate is elegant, sweet and balances the distillate with the wood influence- subtlety over saturation!
