It bolts to the OEM mount locations, offers three adjustable height positions, and is finished in Cerakote with Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) Grade 10.9 hardware and genuine Nord-Lock washers. The engine sits as close to the firewall and as high toward the hood as possible, which gives back clearance to the steering bars in their factory location. This mount is designed for the Honda K24A, K24A2, and K20Z3 engines. For other K-series variants, contact us before ordering and we'll confirm compatibility. What transmissions does it support? The mount works with the OEM Suzuki Samurai transmission, as well as Toyota W56, W58 and W59 transmissions. Will I need to modify my chassis? No fabrication is required. The mount bolts directly to the factory OEM mount locations on the Samurai chassis. Do I need an oil pan modification? Depending on your suspension height, you may need our matching K24 oil pan to add clearance for the front differential. Stock suspension setups generally don't have enough clearance. Does this mount provide enough clearance for the steering bars? Yes. The mount geometry was designed to maintain proper clearance for the steering bars in their factory location, even with the OEM oil pan installed. What header can I use? We currently run the two-piece Kswap Miata header on our builds. Depending on the ride height of the Samurai or Jimny, the second section that routes below the engine may need modification to clear the front differential. Will the Kswap S2000 header work? No. The Kswap S2000 header will not clear the chassis or firewall on the Samurai. What makes the hardware different from typical aftermarket? We use Japanese Industrial Standards Grade 10.9 bolts paired with genuine Nord-Lock wedge locking washers. Nord-Lock washers are used in aerospace and rocket engine applications because their wedge geometry, rather than friction, holds bolted joints secure under extreme vibration. Why Cerakote instead of powder coat? Cerakote is a ceramic based coating originally developed for military applications. It is thinner than powder coat but significantly more durable, with better resistance to impact, heat, chemicals, and UV fading. It keeps the finish looking new for years in the harsh environment of an engine bay. Where is this mount made? Everything is designed, machined, and welded in-house at our Atelier in Florida. What bushing durometer do you recommend? If your build includes the Type S oil pump, we recommend the softer 62A bushing to absorb the vibrations it generates, when the build allows for it. Is this mount serviceable? Yes. The bushing inserts are fully replaceable, so the mount can stay in service for the life of the build without needing to be discarded. Who is RBZ Harmony?
