Sam Shepherd (aka Floating Points) traded nightclubs for the ballet stage with "Mere Mortals," a retelling of the Greek myth of Pandora. Premiering with the San Francisco Ballet in 2024, and returning in 2026, the work recast Pandora as a symbol of curiosity and change.
