Seapot 'Lily of the Valley'

My 'Seapots' are inspired by the historical treasures found in shipwrecks at the bottom of our seas. No longer mere teapots of everyday use, but relics, tokens of forgotten stories, keepers of the souls that once drank from them. The Seapots are inhibited by the spirits that are connected to them and who have left their marks on the material. This tall, narrow Seapot holds the memory of a marriage of yore. Lily of the Valley that has grown over one side of the pot, is held by a hand from the past snd 'fossilised' by the passing of time in salt water. A spirit lives on the other side. I used parts of an antique wedding document and a large crystal for this piece.
