« Jim Erwin était un jeune photographe actif dans les années 1960. Il a ensuite changé de carrière et n’est jamais revenu à la photographie. En 2018, alors qu’il réduisait ses biens et se séparait de nombreuses affaires, Jim a demandé à son neveu (moi) si j’étais intéressé par ses négatifs. Sept ans plus tard, avec son accord, j’ai rassemblé cette archive fascinante et longtemps oubliée d’images réalisées à Rochester, Chicago et lors d’autres étapes à travers les États-Unis.
