Combining the depth properties of traditonal wound filter with the water treatment properties of carbon, the RWSSC has the advantages of two tightly wound polypropylene yarn depth filters with a central core of activated granular carbon media. The outer polypropylene wound removes sediment and other particulate, then the granular activated carbon removes dissolved organic contamination, the second inner polypropylene wound removes any carbon from the final stream. This 3-stage, self-contained filtration process delivers exceptional value for money in a cartridge that is designed to be disposable and allows fast, efficient change-outs resulting in minimal down time.
