They are joined by stainless steel standoffs to create an open-backed construction that reduces the knife’s weight and makes it easy to clean and maintain. The Firefly’s stout drop-point blade is saber ground from VG-10 stainless steel to produce a full-thickness spine and robust point, while ensuring low-friction edge geometry and superior cutting performance.
