Zilveren Fries oorijzer, H. Adema, Leeuwarden, ca. 1870

This silver ear spoon, made by H. Adema, a silversmith from Leeuwarden active since 1846, features two silver plates and has been hallmarked with Minerva's head and the master's mark HA183. The two plates also bear the mark AK6 of A.G. Kijlstra from Drachten, active from 1849 to 1917. The ear spoon shows signs of daily use and has undergone repairs and restorations.
