A Canton enamel snuff bottle with a flattened pear-shape form, blue archaic top border, and delicate flower and rockery painting, featuring a cricket. Dated to the Qianlong period (1736-1795) and in excellent condition, missing a coral stopper.
- The V&A Museum dates their example to Qianlong (1736-1795).
- Bonhams dated theirs to 1780-1850, as Qianlong mark and ‘possibly of the period’.
