Anticipated to ship summer 2026 By the late 1990s, the Scooby-Doo franchise had settled into a familiar routine with endless reruns, classic Saturday morning formulas, and mysteries that almost always ended with another “person behind the mask” (who would have gotten away with it, if it weren’t for those meddling kids!). While the series remained popular, the stories had become predictable, and the franchise was ready for something different. Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (1998) went in a darker and more mature direction. After years apart, the Mystery Inc. gang reunited when they stumble upon a case involving something truly supernatural. Their journey leads them deep into Louisiana, where, for the first time, the danger is real and so are the monsters. To match the film’s ambitious new direction, the score features one of the largest orchestras ever assembled for a Scooby-Doo television production. Warner Brothers hired Emmy-winning composer Steve Bramson, who was busy throughout the 1990s scoring JAG, The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, and Tiny Tunes Adventures. Bramson combined a traditional orchestra with colorful percussion, synthesizers, guitars, fiddles, and bal-musette—a nod to the film's Louisiana/Cajun setting. This edition was produced in collaboration with the composer. It was engraved from the orchestrations by David Slonaker, Ruth Oroshnik, and Michael Patterson. Includes a foreword by Steve Bramson!
