However, the collar is deliberately a dress-type wide spread, a collar style not seen on regular Oxford shirts (it is smaller and more everyday wide than the commonly seen wide spread). The pocket design is a traditional American style that is no longer seen on modern shirts. It is a rare type of pocket design among vintage Brooks shirts. The fabric is an original reproduction of the not-too-thick Oxford from the best era of RL shirts (the 80s). The stitching is not American-style rough, but rather carefully tailored for a dress look. When women or small men wear Size 2, the length and width have been finely adjusted so that it functions as a large summer jacket. Model is 164cm tall and wears Size 1 (If you are larger, we recommend Size 2.)
