Pioppino - Mycelium on organic wooden dowels

Cyclocybe aegerita, also known as Piopino or Poplar Mushroom, is an edible mushroom with a crunchy texture and sweet taste. It grows on wood chips, particularly poplar, and is ideal for quick sautéing, grilling, or adding to risotto or pasta.

• The caps are dark brown initially and lighten to cream-beige at maturity.
