Born from an ongoing dialogue between artisan and curator, the original Spout Bowl was developed exclusively between Rokubei and Simply Native: a piece that reflects both the spirit of traditional Japanese ceramics and the quiet evolution of contemporary craft. Last Summer, the Spout Bowl was brought to life through two shades of blue, capturing the clear skies and vibrant energy of the season. As the seasons shifted, we returned to the kiln to create new expressions for autumn and winter. This time, Hiroaki Kiyomizu explored glazes including Tōka, a delicate celadon glaze accented with soft red spray and his signature Saiyū glaze. This unique bowl is designed for matcha enthusiasts, especially those who love making matcha lattes.
