Glengarry Fae

Glengarry Fae A whimsical new introduction with an almost otherworldly appearance. Glengarry Fae produces soft blush-pink blooms with long, twisting petals that curl and dance around a prominent golden center. The unusual form is remarkably consistent, creating a delicate, fairy-like flower that seems to be perpetually in motion. The open, pollen-rich center makes Fae a favorite with pollinators, attracting a wonderful assortment of insects throughout the season. Ethereal in appearance, but full of garden presence, Fae brings something genuinely beautiful to the dahlia patch. There’s a particular joy in growing open-centered dahlias. As a gardener, I find myself increasingly drawn to them - not only for the flowers themselves, but for everything they bring to the garden. Bees, hoverflies, butterflies and all sorts of other visitors move from bloom to bloom, filling the dahlia patch with movement and that gentle buzz of activity. There’s something wonderfully cheerful about it. The flowers are beautiful, but surrounded by all that life, the whole experience of growing them feels just a little more magical.
