Vinho Verde DOC, Portugal – 100% Loureiro Aromas of lemon and lime zest, white flowers, and green apple, with a touch of bay leaf and laurel and a cool, crushed-stone minerality. The palate is crisp and vibrant, with bright, mouthwatering acidity, a saline mineral lift, and a long, clean finish. Excellent with oysters, fresh shellfish, ceviche, and sushi and just as happy with grilled white fish, green salads, fresh goat cheese, or lighter Asian dishes with a touch of citrus or herb. Or even on it’s own during a hot day on a patio. Quinta do Ameal is a historic Lima Valley estate with records dating back to 1710, devoted entirely to Loureiro.
