Finding Neverland

Barrie and the family that motivated the creation of "Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up." The musical includes compositions and lyrics by Gary Barlow and Eliot Kennedy, along with a book authored by James Graham. J.M. Barrie, a playwright facing challenges, meets Sylvia Llewelyn Davies, a widowed mother, and her four sons in Kensington Park. Through his relationship with the family, Barrie becomes motivated by their experiences, especially Peter, who struggles with the concept of play due to his emotional pain. Barrie assists him in rediscovering joy in play and is driven to develop a new genre: children's theatre. Key considerations arise: what audience will support a play focused on children?
