CAT Tails

SoundTools CAT Tails provide a simple way to carry up to four channels of balanced analogue audio or AES3 over a single shielded Cat5e cable. Designed to plug directly into consoles, stage boxes and other audio equipment, each CAT Tail features four individually numbered XLR tails connected to a rugged etherCON RJ45 connector. When used with suitable shielded Cat cable, CAT Tails also support 48V phantom power. Available with male or female XLR connectors, they’re ideal for creating compact, modular audio snakes without running multiple bulky XLR cables.
