Shakmat Modular Knights Gallop Dual Trigger Generator Kit The Knights Gallop Dual Trigger Generator Kit is a DIY Eurorack rhythm module designed for creating evolving trigger patterns, polyrhythms and algorithmically related sequences. Its two trigger outputs can generate interconnected or independent rhythmic material, making it particularly useful for driving drum modules, envelopes, sequencers and other clocked events in a modular system. Sequences can run at variable lengths of up to 16 steps, with controls for sequence length and pulse density allowing rhythms to be quickly reshaped. Multiple pattern-generation algorithms provide different approaches to rhythmic sequencing, including Euclidean, divider-based and complementary patterns. Forward and backward shift controls make it possible to rotate sequences without changing their underlying rhythmic structure. Several operating modes expand the relationship between the two outputs, allowing the module to create variations, complementary rhythms, randomized patterns or two independently configured sequences. A Record mode also allows users to manually perform and capture trigger sequences, making the Knights Gallop suitable for both algorithmic composition and hands-on live performance.
