DETAILS 1> Each class comes with: 1 ticket per couple (2 people) Two band rings crafted by you and your partner (Women: approx. 2.3mm Flat band · Men: approx. 5mm Flat band) Choice of metal: sterling silver or solid gold 2-hour guided experience, unhurried and personalized A polaroid photo taken during your experience Keepsake frame for your Polaroid MEIRAKO jewelry box for your finished rings All ring-making tools and equipment A friendly, calm, and relaxed environment A unique and meaningful experience, designed to be remembered 2> Class Location: Marda Loop, Calgary 3> Time Required: About 2 hours, but the duration may vary depending on the group. We kindly request that you arrive on time. Late arrivals can disrupt the class and may require our instructors to work beyond the scheduled time. 4> Age Limit: Please note: Workshop participants must be 15 years of age or older. Those under 18 years of age must have parental consent / a signed waiver. 5> Late policy: Please plan to arrive on time for your scheduled jewelry workshop to ensure the best experience. * Up to 10 Minutes Late: If you’re running late by 10 minutes or less, you can still join the session. However, please note that you may miss part of the instruction. * More than 10 Minutes Late: If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate you in the current session. Due to the structured nature of our workshops, late arrivals can disrupt the flow and affect the experience for other participants. * Unfortunately, late arrivals beyond 10 minutes are non-refundable. 6> Cancellation: All class sales are non-refundable, but we are happy to assist you in exchanging for a different class. To modify the schedule, kindly inform us at least 48 hours prior to the class. No-shows are not eligible for exchanges. In case of inclement weather, such as a snowstorm, we may need to reschedule the date. 7> In this class, you will learn fundamental metal smithing techniques such as sizing rings, filing, texturing, finishing, and soldering. No prior experience is required. 8> This workshop includes flat band styles in standard widths. If you’re interested in different band widths, profiles, or design details, style upgrades are available. Please contact us (info@meirako.com) in advance to confirm availability and pricing. 9> Optional Add-Ons & Finishing Notes Engraving is Included. (Basic font, up to 8 letters. Inside of the rings) Please note that engraving may require the rings to be sent to our Edmonton studio, and turnaround time is typically 3–4 weeks depending on the design and workload. White gold rings require specialized finishing and professional cleaning. As a result, white gold pieces may take an additional 3–4 weeks for proper cleaning and finishing before they are ready for pickup. We will always confirm timelines with you in advance so you know exactly what to expect.
